Born and raised in Oakland California, Tavia Percia is working her way up to being one of the bay area's top young actresses. Her hard work and dedication to the arts has caused her to become a role model in her community amoungst her peers.

 

In 2011, Tavia graduated with honors from Oakland School for the Arts after winning eight Theatre Guild Awards including, Best Actress as Milton in "All in the Timing" by David Ives, Best Actress in a Musical as Evillene in "The Wiz" by William F. Brown , and best original Show for her Original Play "De Lewe: A youth Movement". In the fall of 2011 Tavia went on to continue her Theatrical training at Academy of Art University. That year, Tavia was cast in three different shows around the bay area. The next year she was cast in five including The Old Settler by John Henry Redwood Directed by Tico Wells.

Tavia Percia & Company was established is 2012 by Tavia Percia herself. Tavia's mission is to lead her generation to a way of coping with the horror in their pasts through the arts. The Company is having it's first season this year with two original plays and three written by other playwrights. 

 

Though she is only 20 years old, there is a lot that Tavia knows about the industry and a lot she still must learn.
